A little bit practical, a little bit whimsical, and absolutely beautiful when the light hits it. This clear glass tea tray has been individually hand-painted with translucent glass paints in jeweltoned shades of teal, emerald, violet, pink, coral, and gold, creating an iridescent, stained-glass effect that seems to glow in a way that appears bejeweled in the sunlight.
The graceful botanical pattern is inset into the underside of the glass, with each individual detail carefully hand-painted to bring the design to life while leaving the top surface smooth. A built-in circular indentation provides a designated place for a teacup, leaving room alongside it for crackers, fruit, cheese, cookies, or other small treats.
Originally designed as a personal tea and hors d’oeuvres tray, it can just as easily become a trinket tray, vanity tray, jewelry dish, or colorful decorative accent.
Because the glass remains clear around the painted detailing, its appearance changes beautifully with the surface beneath it - and when sunlight passes through, those jewel-like colors truly come alive.
